PRODUCTS <<previous next>> COMPACT WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS Applicable to domestic and comparable industrial wastewater, ECTED ("Estação Compacta de Tratamento de Efluentes Domésticos" / Compact Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant) technology is based in the Extended-Aeration variant of the Activated-Sludge biological treatment process.
Ccompact WWTP in FRP and Carbon Steel
The compact WWTP is applicable whenever is necessary to treat wastewater generated by small population agglomerates. Its main advantages are the easiness to install and the equipment operationality. Treated wastewater analytic results from a 100 equivalent inhabitants WWTP, F/M ratio of 0,12 and medium flow rate of 13 m3/day.
In compliance with most european countries legislation, ECTED system includes the final sludges treatment in the biological process.
This type of equipment is specially suitable to: - Small population agglomerates and villages, where the costs to connect the sewage system to a drainage main-pipe are incomportable. - Urban lottings and housing and commercial areas, not served by a municipal draining system.
This technology has compact characteristics, null impact once the equipment is buried, is built in FRP - Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester or Carbon Steel with proper coating, and has a secondary treatment level, or tertiary, if the receiving media requires it.
