PRODUCTS <<previous next>> OIL/WATER SEPARATORS An oil/water separator is a key element in wastewater treatment, when oil contamination is a a possibility that needs to be considered. Therefor, its presence is fundamental on service stations, mechanical workshops, garages, car-washes, ...
Oil/water separators work on the principle of specific weights difference between water and oil/hydrocarbons. Coalescence effect is based on small oil droplets mergence during contact with each other and with a hard surface; once merged, they can be more easily separated from water. This allows a better elimination of smaller diameter oil droplets than with the base model.
