Lift Stations are used to raise sewage proceeding from draining areas below the local drainage main-pipe level, overcoming the difficulties of terrain topography and making possible the connection of drains with different profiles to a drainage main-pipe.
 
Pumping equipment is dimensioned according to the required flow rate and total head, operating with switchgear, and to 100 % project flow rate.
